A Celebration of Cycling and Diversity
10th Kufsteinerland Radmarathon inspires with participation record, high proportion of women and new course record
Personal memories, surprising reflections, and the question of happiness shaped the evening with André Heller
Kufstein – A sold-out Stadtsaal Kufstein and around 700 people eager to hear André Heller speak: Demand for the Austrian multi-talented artist was exceptionally high. All seats were already sold out four weeks before his performance on October 16. In conversation with host Klaus Reitberger, Heller opened his “Studio of Thoughts” in Kufstein—and offered personal insights into a life shaped as much by art and imagination as by special encounters and ever-changing perspectives.
An evening of memories and big questions
André Heller spoke about his childhood and youth in Vienna, about the people who shaped him, and about encounters that continue to resonate to this day. Time and again, the conversation moved from personal memories to the major themes of his work: beauty, humanity, imagination, and the ability to perceive the world with open eyes.
Among other things, the discussion touched on his mother and the conversations he had with her in her 102nd year, on extraordinary companions along the way, and on projects through which Heller brought his ideas and dreams to life. Amid moments of reflection, subtle humor, and personal anecdotes, the evening unfolded—less as a traditional retrospective on a great artistic life’s work and more as an invitation to reflect on one’s own life, a sense of wonder, and the question of happiness.
“700 people coming together to listen, reflect, and be inspired—to me, that’s a powerful image of what the Kufsteinerland region stands for. We want to be a place where special encounters are possible, where culture brings people together, and where new ideas can emerge. That’s exactly what we achieved this evening,” says Michael Weiß, managing director of the Tourismusverband Kufsteinerland.
The “glück.tage” are a series of events organized by the Tourismusverband Kufsteinerland and are significantly supported by Sparkasse Kufstein, the City of Kufstein, and the State of Tyrol.
