Culture in the mountains: the Kaiser Mountains as a theatre backdrop

In June and July, theatre productions by the Kufstein municipal theatre attract leisure walkers and culture lovers to the Kaiser Mountains nature reserve above the fortress city. There is a performance of the well-known piece "Munde", by Felix Mitterer, which can be well integrated into the nature reserve. In only 20 minutes you travel with the nostalgic single-seat Kaiserlift from Tyrol's second largest city to the middle of an imposing natural backdrop of the Kaiser Mountains, and enjoy the play. There are ten play dates in June and July, each starting at 6:30 pm.

The renovated Kufstein Kaiserlift will once again start operating on May 1st, and carries passionate mountaineers, leisurely hikers and everybody who enjoys good views to the Kaiser Mountains nature reserve at 1200 meters. It is an ideal starting point for tours in the Kaiser Mountains, the Kaisertal and the Wilder Kaiser. Also awaiting visitors are lookout points and traditional hut culture. The Kaiserlift operates daily from May 1st to October 31st, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
