A dream of Brahms

In this innovative project, the Diogenes Quartet can once again be heard with its long-standing chamber music partner Andreas Kirpal. Together they face the Max Grosch Quartet. But this is not just a confrontation. Works by Johannes Brahms provide the basis for rousing improvisations and yet always return to their original sound. Jazz and classical music flow smoothly into one another, overlap, dissolve and regroup to create a unique sound experience that combines the best of two musical worlds. This varied and creative programme brings the strengths of both ensembles to full fruition.
