Ausstellungseröffnung 'sisterhood' - Germana Reindl & Christine Mich
“Sisterhood” - an exciting exhibition of two Kufstein artists at the city gallery dia:log. Under the title “sisterhood,” the two Kufstein artists Christine Mich and Germana Reindl are showing their diverse works for the first time in a joint exhibition at the dia:log gallery. The opening of the exhibition will take place on Friday, March 13, at 19:00 in the city gallery dia:log in Kufstein. Introductory words about the exhibition will be spoken by Maria Reitberger MA from the cultural office of the city of Kufstein, and David Menzhausen, a journalist from Germany, will provide insights into the artworks. Imaginative and sculptural objects, textile works, and pictures will be presented, which tell much about the experiences of societal norms and pressures as a female being in childhood and youth. A critical, quirky, and often humorous view of women's lives emerges, nourished by many personally experienced events and stories from the past of the two artists, who also express their unique twin relationship within it. There is also a reference to the attitude of mutual connection and solidarity among women, supporting and encouraging each other. The artists see this artistic distance as a powerful way for women to embark on a freer future. The exhibition is open until April 14, 2026 at the city gallery dia:log, Kinkstraße 5, Kufstein. Opening hours: Tue, Thu, Fri, 15:00-18:00, Sat: 10:30-13:00.
