Kurzfilm Festival Kufstein 2026

The Short Film Festival Kufstein is a practical project of the Kufstein Tirol University of Applied Sciences and is organized by master's students of the "Sports, Culture & Event Management" program. The 9th edition of the established festival presents international short films in various original languages, each with English subtitles. Following the screenings, inspiring interviews and panel discussions with members of the expert jury take place, as well as the presentation of the film awards. During the subsequent after-talk, visitors have the opportunity to engage in a shared exchange and delve into their impressions with filmmakers, the jury, and other guests. This year's motto is "Turning Points: Movements of Change." We create an inclusive space where change becomes visible, meaningful, and collectively experienced. By engaging with moments of change in history, society, and personal life paths, we invite our audience to reflect on how shifts in perspective can lead to new insights and unexpected realizations.
