Leni - Ein Pferd im Schafspelz
Leni – a Horse in Sheep's Clothing Theatro Piccolo presents a story about being different
On Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 3 PM, the Kulturfabrik Kufstein will become the stage for an extraordinary theater experience for the whole family: Theatro Piccolo, one of the most renowned children's and youth theaters in Austria, tells a whimsical yet heartfelt story about being different with “Leni – a Horse in Sheep's Clothing.” At the center is the sheep Leni, who no longer feels comfortable in her herd. Everything seems perfect – fresh grass, open pastures, familiar company. But Leni feels: There is more. One day, when the gate opens, she dares to leap into the unknown. On her journey, she encounters new animals, new thoughts – and herself. What starts as an escape becomes a journey of discovery about freedom, identity, and the power to follow one's own path. The play combines acting, puppetry, and live music into an engaging experience full of sensitivity and imagination. With a wink, the ensemble succeeds in telling big themes in a child-friendly yet touching manner. With “Leni – a Horse in Sheep's Clothing,” Theatro Piccolo once again proves that children's theater not only entertains but also moves – and that sometimes a little sheep asks the biggest questions: Who am I, and who do I want to be? Tickets are available at www.kultur.kufstein.at, at the city office of Kufstein, at the Kufsteinerland tourism office, and at all Ö-Ticket pre-sales points.
