Now, after a 2-year break, it returns to the Rathaus – without folding chairs, but with old flair! Lia, a retired teacher in Georgia, learns from her young neighbor Achi that her missing transgender niece Tekla is supposed to be living in Turkey. Hoping to bring Tekla home after a long estrangement, Lia travels to Istanbul with Achi. In their explorations of the city's hidden corners, they encounter lawyer Evrim, who helps with the search... A profoundly human and tender story about identity, acceptance, and invisible ties across borders and generations.
