PREMIERE: Breznknödl-Deschawü

To the content. A village in Tyrolean Unterland 1996. The excitement over a mysterious "lying bell" has settled down, and the scheming mayor Filzer has managed to prevent the wedding of his Sabine to Thomas at the last moment. But he is already up to something new. He wants to trick Ignaz Gruber out of his "heavenly key meadow" with the help of some villagers and his daughter. And Ignaz Gruber is starting to lose it. He can no longer stand the sight of pretzel dumplings and has to relive the same day over and over again. The same village people appear every day, asking the exact same questions, and every day his sister-in-law Brezenklödl reserves pretzel dumplings for him again. And every day he has to say "NO" again to his daughter Hanni's marriage plans and to the village's plans to buy his meadow. Maybe he is just imagining this, or is it really true? Or has he been cleverly driven into madness? The madness has just begun.
