Autumn is getting loud – really loud! For the fourth time, the cultural association Liveheit is bringing its legendary Rocktober Fest to Kufstein, transforming the Kulturfabrik into a vibrant center for carefully selected live music, powerful guitar riffs, and exuberant festival atmosphere. What started as a small insider tip has long since established itself as a fixed entity in the regional music scene – and in 2025 it will be hot again! Headlining the evening are The Illiterates – and they are currently on a roll. After their acclaimed performance at the Donauinselfest 2025 on the Radio 88.6 Rock stage, where they sent the audience into collective ecstasy with a mix of Tyrolean Volxpunk, biting lyrics, and uncompromising stage energy, their breakthrough on the international stage followed just a few weeks later: six (!) shows at the Full Metal Alm at Wacken Open Air 2025. So anyone who thought the Illiterates were just a local phenomenon has made a big mistake – this band is loud, political, uncomfortable, and ready for the big stages. And that's exactly what makes them the perfect headliner for the Rocktober Fest. Durcel Haze are not guests at the Rocktober Fest – they are an essential part of the DNA. Anyone who knows the band knows that there are no half measures: sharp riffs, thumping bass, edgy melodies, and lyrics that go straight to the brain.
