Wine Hike to Weinbergerhaus – Discovery Journey Kamptal

As part of the Kufstein wine week, a special culinary experience awaits:
a guided wine hike to Weinbergerhaus. The meeting point is at 9:30 a.m. at the Kaiserlift. From there, we will take the lift together to the middle station Duxer Alm. Afterwards, the hike continues along the Schneerosenweg to Weinbergerhaus. The walking time is about 2 hours. Along the way, movement, mountain air, and interesting facts about wine come together. Together with a mountain hiking guide, sommelier Matthias Breitsameter, and the Schweiger winery, the insight into landscape, origin, and craftsmanship in the glass unfolds step by step. At the top of Weinbergerhaus, 4 to 5 selected Kamptal wines from the Schweiger winery will be tasted. The winery will personally pour the wines. Matthias Breitsameter will accompany the tasting with knowledge about grape varieties, maturation, and the special features of the Kamptal region. A snack will be served. After the wine tasting, the official program ends. The return journey is made individually: either walking back to the valley or by the Kaiserlift. End around 3-4 p.m.

Not included:
- lift ride with the Kaiserlift. The lift ride can be paid for with the KufsteinerlandCard, the KufsteinCard, or out of pocket.
