The Wings for Life World Run is the largest running event in the world and, thanks to its unique race format, a truly one-of-a-kind global race for both runners and wheelchair users. Instead of a finish line, there is the so-called Catcher Car, the mobile finish line of the race, which gradually catches up with the participants. On May 10, 2026, you can run in Austria in Niederndorf at the Wings for Life World Run. Be at the start! The virtual Catcher Car will start its pursuit 30 minutes after the start at a speed of 14 km/h and will increase this speed steadily until the last participant is caught. 100 percent of all entry fees and donations go directly to spinal cord research and help find a cure for paralysis.
