Wolfgang Fasching explores the Kufsteinerland – to be broadcast on 15 May on ServusTV

Kufsteinerland – On 15 May at 9.15 pm, ServusTV will broadcast a new production by Red Bull Media House featuring extreme athlete and Race Across America winner Wolfgang Fasching, which was filmed last year in the Kufsteinerland region.
For the programme “Radln mit Fasching – in Kufsteinerland”, Fasching explored the region between Kufstein, Thiersee and Erl on a leisurely tour by gravel bike, encountering the people, places and unique features of Kufsteinerland along the way. The filming focused on scenic routes as well as regional stories and personal encounters, offering insights into local crafts, cuisine and leisure activities.
On his tour, Wolfgang Fasching meets a singing caretaker from the UK who has fallen in love with the region around Kufstein. He discovers why six hairdressers are needed on the final day of the Passionsspiele Erl and where tens of thousands of cheese wheels are stored and mature deep within the rock. And there is something else that piques Wolfgang’s curiosity: There is reportedly a coffee roaster in Kufstein who purchased Wolfgang's handprints and footprints at auction for a good cause.
