‘Gefühlsecht’ is the name of NOCKIS' latest album, which the band released in June 2024. At first glance, the album title sounds quite provocative, but in this case it is meant quite differently. Because these 12 new songs are primarily about fond memories of past romances, romantic and deep feelings of love - in other words, ‘true to feeling’ in the sense of truthfulness. The songs are often based on real experiences, as the songwriters confirm. This is and has always been important to the NOCKIS, as it is the only way they can win the hearts of their many fans time and time again. The NOCKIS celebrated their 40th stage anniversary in 2022, making them something like the Rolling Stones in the German pop music business. Their albums have now gone straight to number 1 in Austria 13 times and the NOCKIS are also doing very well in Germany and Switzerland. Who would have thought in 1982, the year they were founded, that a then unknown formation from Carinthia would establish itself as Austria's most successful pop band of all time? The NOCKIS now proudly own a total of 38 gold and 29 platinum records and a multi-precious metal award to mark their anniversary.
