Tyrolean Brass - 'in Memoriam Werner Pirchner'

Tyrolean Brass is an association of five top Tyrolean musicians who, despite having worked as orchestral musicians, freelance musicians and instrumental teachers, have chosen Tyrol as the center of their lives.
With Tyrolean Brass, the friends have created a reason to make music together regularly at the highest level. They develop a suitable concept for each concert, but will soon also be presenting a self-written, musical-educational children's theater. It is with great pleasure that Tyrolean Brass dedicates itself to the Tyrolean composer and musician Werner Pirchner, who sadly died far too early and would have celebrated his 85th birthday in 2025.
In a varied program, conceived by trumpeter Patrik Hofer, the Brass Quintet will perform Pirchner's music in varying instrumentations, writer Hans Augustin will read letters and texts from the pen of Werner Pirchner, and you will also hear and see excerpts from the film D.U.D.A. and from the “half double album”.
