Falling out

Two sisters, a couple, two friends, a mother and her daughter: In the same city, on the same day they all fall out with each other. They fall out because they disagree on issues that concern many people in past, present and future: Different concepts of life, capitalism vs. self-actualization, abortion, astrology and alternative medicine, sexual orientation and traditional values. They fall out with each other and lose one another. All conversation stops. A painful silence creeps into their lives. Can they learn to talk to each other again? Can they break the silence and discover that conversation matters, especially in the face of disagreement and dispute? Maybe the basketball-playing dude on the bench can help them figure it out?
