Theatre: Trennung für Feiglinge
Comedy by Clément Michel
A fast-paced comedy with quick dialogue, biting humour and a sure sense of timing and situation comedy.
Synopsis:
Paul and Sophie have only recently moved into a flat together. Things are going well, she thinks. Paul, on the other hand, has recently become fed up to the back teeth with his lovely girlfriend and a break-up seems to be the only way out.
Unfortunately, Paul doesn't have the guts to break up with Sophie, so his best friend Martin has to serve as the reason for the break-up. He has to move in with them and misbehave until Sophie gives Paul the choice: ‘Either he leaves or I do.’ Martin is less than enthusiastic about this idea, especially as he likes Sophie. When Paul tells his sweetheart a story about a bereavement in Martin's immediate family circle, there is no escape for Martin. He agrees to temporarily relocate the centre of his life. For a maximum of one week, no more.
Thus begins a special kind of ménage-à-trois, which leads to some surprising twists and turns. After all, who would have thought that Sophie would put her ambition into treating poor, loss-ridden Martin....
