Kufstein 24 – 24 Hours United Through Sport Kufstein 24 is a unique practical project by the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol and will enter its eighth edition in 2025. From May 23 to May 24, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Kufstein will once again transform into a hub of sports, movement, and community. For 24 hours, sports enthusiasts of all ages and fitness levels can participate in a diverse program – completely free of charge. Sport Without Borders – The Motto for 2025 Under this year’s motto, “24h United Through Sport,” Kufstein 24 highlights the unifying power of sports. Sports build bridges between generations, nationalities, and different fitness levels – and this sense of community is what we aim to bring to life. Whether you are a dedicated athlete or simply enjoy an active lifestyle, everyone is welcome to be part of this special event. Event Highlights In addition to a diverse sports program, this year’s participants can look forward to two special guest speakers: - Rainer Schliermann: A renowned sports psychologist and motivational coach, Schliermann has guided elite athletes and teams toward peak performance for years. In his talk, he will offer valuable insights into the mental aspects of sports – covering motivation, goal setting, stress management, and performance optimization. - Benjamin Hundsbichler: As an Austrian triathlete and Ironman finisher, Hundsbichler knows exactly what it takes to push beyond limits. With his experience from international competitions and his role as a sports commentator, he will provide fascinating insights into the world of endurance sports. Furthermore, Kufstein 24 will once again be a certified Green Event this year. The organizers are committed to enhancing the event’s sustainability and minimizing its environmental impact.
